Hot water heater question. Should we just put a 20 gallon water heater or an ondemand water heater.

        Propane on-demand water heater.

Get a propane on demand. I totally second that! I've got a triton 5l that I got off Amazon go around 100 bucks after some rebate. Money very well spent. That a transfer pump some hose and a water tank or water source and your set.

How well will the tankless water heaters work if our water line is above ground. Just wondering how it will heat the water when it's real cold outside.

We have a very similar shower build. PEX solves the broken pvc fittings we use to deal with during freezing temps (even though we incorporated drain down valves.)

We have a 30 gallon LP HW Heater. A nice side benefit when located inside the enclosure is it keeps the enclosure warm on cold days.

We put a nice RV style toilet in this build. The LED area light outside is perfect. I.t really lights up the camp. On the front we put hot and cold water hook ups for outside sink and also a hose bib for a water hose
