I don't understand, if a guy wants to go out and kill big deer what's the issue why is he a fool.

To some people, me included, when you've killed a pen raised deer, you've only executed him. They do it everyday at slaughterhouses, so it's not a big deal. If he's happy though, I'm happy for him.

Just a thought, since this guy's obviously entering a lot of big buck contests. What is the harvest of such a deer a measure of? Is he holding these deer up as evidence of his hunting prowess or his deep pockets? I know someone is going to say I'm jealous, but I wouldn't go hunting at one of these operations for free. When you pick your buck out of a binder of photos and have someone drive you to the stand and feeder set up where he hangs out, is that hunting? What is there to be proud of? What effort have you put in and what achievement have you made? Is success and notoriety really worth anything when you purchase it with cash instead of earning it with sweat?
