3 tanks now - adding a 4th around the new barn area for aesthetics. A large seasonal creek, creating a pretty draw runs thru the place - it's called Post Oak Creek on the maps. I haven't found a post oak yet, but the place is covered in big live oaks.
The creek stopped flowing a couple weeks ago when the rains slowed own, and it got hot hot, but pools water most of the way.
              750 +/- ac.

We will plow and re-seed the sunflower fields in January, and just moved some cows into the fields to control the Johnson grass.
The pigs and deer have already eaten the wheat heads off last years wheat crop, but the sunflowers look good.

For the deer - we will plant about 10-15 acres in wheat this fall.

We are on the East side of 315. Really nice views back to the west. The ranch across the road to the west has a lot of topography, as the country falls off towards deep creek.

Welcome to the neighborhood! I am about the same distance south of Putnam. Would love to meet up some time.

Deep creek runs next to our camp. Flooded the cabin with 4 feet of mud/water in May 2016.

Congrats! Nothing like the excitement of exploring your new place and making plans for improvements. As the crow flies we are maybe 5-6 miles northeast of you.
