I bought the 15 watt three three head by LEDMI
And the Lovebay dual light with a timer.
Actually wished I would have bought two of the Lovebay units I think they broadcast more light. I also like the built in timer.

I bought two of these heating pads.

And this light. I like it because it allows you to easily raise the light as the plants grow.

Your little one will love it. I did it for my kids the first year and they love picking things when they are ready...and sometimes before.

He likes playin in the dirt, helpin dad, and taking care of stuff...I believe he'll love it.

We had a garden when I was a kid, I enjoyed it. Dad has been known to go a little over board though and it turned into work. I'll never forget mom fillin the fireplace full of taters and onions, shelling wheelbarrows of black eyed peas, tomaters on every window sill, and filling her suburban full of brown grocery bags full of veggies for folks at church.

This is my First garden at the new rent house but luckily our landlords are cool and plowed a big spot for us. If I remember correctly our garden is some 30x70 +/- As of now I have a few lettuce plants that are slowly growing and I just planted two rows of onions.

Well this morning rain has put our garden spot back to square 1... It looks like a lake this morning, but such is life on the prairie...
