Looking for a good place to take the kids to camp

I like Livingston State Park but we have gone there a lot. Can anyone make some suggestions. We like to fish off the shore and swim. At Livingston they have a swimming area where the boats can not go and I like that because I feel safer. I'm hoping to find another park that has that safe swimming zone.

You can try Wolf Creek park. Its just across the lake from the state park. They have a protected swimming area, and you can fish Wolf creek.

I haven't been camping since I was a kid (28 now) but we used to really enjoy Choke Canyon. No idea what kind of shape it's in now but it used to have all the things you mentioned plus tons of deer that you could throw corn to

I like Martin Dies State Park. Nice piers to fish off of an a good swimming area. Good hiking trails and a playground if you have little kids.
