You go when you can and let your buddies meet up with ya. Family comes first but they aint your family so don't let it stand in your way. GO!

Don't have to be home until Sunday evening and if I'm lucky I could just hang out with him until he leaves. I just got an invite from another friend to go to Mexico with him on January 10-14. I would cut one trip short to make another one. I doubt I will make the trip to Mexico but it's very tempting, my wife gave me the green light to do both.

First of all, you are getting way too many opportunities to go hunting.
Speaking as someone who is going thru withdrawals ( first year in over 20 that I'm not on a lease) I say go where and when you want. Especially if the wife is giving you the green light. You owe it to her. Now quit being selfish and go make her happy!
