Had to say good bye to a dear friend today. Her name is Mia. She was my girl. Went everywhere with me, from hunting & fishing to going to the bathroom, she was always there. But at 3yrs old her body gave up on her. Her kidneys failed her. She got sick about a week ago & thought it was just a bad tooth that caused to quite eating. Took her to the vet Thursday & found out her kidneys was failing. Held out for hope till yesterday, she could hardly walk, she acted like she couldn't see & while just sitting she would potty on her self. I couldn't take it anymore & made the decision to have her put down today. Mia I will miss you!!

Sorry for your loss. Last year I had to put down my best bud Kalani. It's amazing how much of an impact they have on us. I had Kalani for 13 years, my wife knew him for 6 and every now and then she'll get upset and when I ask why it's always "just thinking of that stupid dog of yours, I miss him"
