Water Valley guys, just heard there is a brush fire on the March Ranch, hopefully it will be contained soon. That's our north neighbor.

We got it contained about 10 last night burned around 550 acres. Not sure what the wind will do on it next couple days.

I hope not but if conditions don’t change there is gonna be more. It is getting super dry and now with all the rain in spring there is a ton of brown dead grass. Please be careful with trucks in tall grass and of course with campfires.
Our place is really dry.

Let it stay dry for August and September! Need those suckers haaangry for corn and timed protein come October!

Has this hit the Mertzon 09 ranch.

Yes...Jeff (AntlerCollector) was there this weekend and it was about 1/2 mile south of Red’s house Sat. About 3-400 acres burned in what they call the bull trap. Last report was it was contained and stopped when it hit the main road.
