    pallet wood addiction -smokehouse

Back yard project-I need a better smoke/heat box, smokes well but only gets to 120,but works for bacon and sausages.I collected about eight really clean/new pallets.I only get the USHT stamped red oak.I failed my weld test, but no life will be lost.

What is USHT stamped red oak? A quick google search only lead me back to this thread. lol

Im guessing it has to do with no chemical additives to the wood?

United States Heat Treated-means they are "kinda clean"-no pesticide in the wood

Thanks, I started from the ground up in photos. I had to rip alot for the sides to square it up.

saw a piece of OSB on the road

got the roof up before a little rain and finished the door
