Red Fox can wipe out a lamb crop when the lambs are small. I see no reason why they wouldn't eat a fawn up to 30lbs. Grey fox are rodent and bird eaters as well as berry's and fruits.

The foxes here at the house will eat corn with the deer even when very little fawns are present and the deer give them no mind at all. I've never seen the foxes even glance at them. These are all greys.

I have been called crazy so I will have to see if I can get a picture. My buddy had a grey fox den under his feed shed and thought they were cool so he left them be. The next spring he said there were over a dozen fawn legs at the entrance of the den. He said it looked like a bunch of pop sickle sticks littering the ground. He ended up shooting the foxes.

Fox won’t do much except maybe to a few turkey or quail nests.

Reds on the other hand will definitely kill small fawns. They can be very agressive in the killing department.
