    Yellowmouth tacos

    Yellowmouth ( speck ) tacos

    Get cast iron skillet smokin hot with butter
    Dry fillets and rub with blackening seasoning
    Cook 3-5 minutes each side

    After done cooking fish, empty cast iron and add a little veg oil.
    Cook CORN tortillas for 30 seconds or so on each side, don't let them get chip hard.

    Sauce , 3 spoons of sour cream, 2 spoons of mayo, garlic salt, siracha hot sauce and lime to your liking.

    Top tacos with cole slaw.

    Total time- 30 min

              Thanks! Just brought home a big bag of spec fillets. I like to eat them all in the the first month or so after freezing - I will add that recipe into the rotation!

                    Ate something very similar for lunch today love some good fish tacos. I'll give your sauce a try mine was basically the same minus the sour cream. Thanks for the tips.

                        Yummy!

                        We basically do the same except cook it with red onions, and chopped tomatoes. Top it with cilantro, feta cheese, and chipotle pepper sauce.

                          Did this tonight, but a hair different. Our coleslaw was just dry shredded cabbage. Turned out awesome.
