    score question

Got the first pictures from the cameras. Hebbronville lease.
Question is on the deers left side. Would the fourth mass measurement be taken in the palmation? Or would that be considered a split and the mass would be taken one more point down

Looks like it shares a base so would be the next one down

Can’t really tell in that picture but looks like it’s a split right at the base so the measurement will have to come before the next point awesome buck !

I would say it’s a common base g3 as well. Most likely you will not get that measurement.

Common base point. But ask me to score him and I’ll give it to you for an ice cold cerveza.

Next circ down. Common bases are not measurable.

Last years pic. Seems to have lost some mass.

In that pic both tines come off the main beam. You'd get the measurement.

That would have pushed him bigger than we were thinking.
8-9” or so in one mass measurement would’ve been awesome.

Depends on what official BC scorer you take it to. I had a deer that was less questionable than that deer. I had him scored by a BC scorer on this sight and he said that the second tine didn't come of the main beam. He officially scored the deer at 161 and netted him at 141 and change. I asked another BC scorer and one PY scorer their opinion and one said "you got screwed" He didn't use the would screwed. PY scorer agreed. It's the deer in my avatar. He scored 183 and netted 168 and change.
