    Freebirds restaurant in Tyler

I just got thru eating lunch there for the first time. That was the best burrito I have ever eaten in my life.
I got the monster with the spinach tortilla, white rice, steak with extra steak, the mashed up beans(can't remember what they are called), buttermilk ranch sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and onions.

    So full

I heard tell that there were folks camped out up there last night. they started showing up at 4:00 yesterday afternoon. It was 96 degrees. I reckon I'll just wait.

Glad to hear it was tasty, though.

Freebirds is wonderful. Ate there many times in my years in Aggieland. I visit the one in Lubbock often when I pass through. Chipolte is alright but I love me some Freebirds.

I go just to see the "talent" behind the counter..... It appears you bring a bong with you at the time of the interview.

I can say they have it figured out... Who better to make a bad A burrito than someone who's free time is spent working up the munchies.

They have Chipotle beat hands down IMO.

We ate at one in Collage Station this weekend and made the same comments- they hire people who would never get a job anywhere else except maybe a tattoo parlor or as a street performer, and they are better than Chipotle!

As far as how busy they are- that's normal for any new restaurant, especially in Tyler, even the Mexican food places.
