If the breeding took I should have a litter of lacys coming here in a couple months. She appears to be swelling already so I'm pretty sure it took.
        Registered lacys $500
dad is an excellent tracker (red color)
mom is the family pet now days (tri color)

Last litter i had with this pair turned out to be great trackers and 3 good cow dogs

Are these Heeler looking dogs with the white eyes genetically good for tracking? We had one show up at our place about 2 months ago with the solid white eyes. He was skiddish up until a few weeks ago. We can finally play with him. He had a collar on with no ID tags, that was too tight and getting into his skin. He's been here ever since. If someone wants him, I can take pics. We have enough animals, but I'm not gonna watch him get neglected either. Sweet disposition. Still got his hangers between his hind legs. Docked tail.

Anyone got extra blood I can have? I can be found in kingsville during the week and down in the valley on the weekends. Thanks to any that help out. Also what is the name of the book that was said is a must read for training a blood dog? Can’t seem to find it in here.

Wow, that dog's coat is the splitting image of my Patsy. As mentioned, looks like a catahoula. Good dogs.

What side arm does everyone carry when tracking?

Got the book in today and have been skipping around reading different chapters, the book is very detailed and informative. I have lots of work to do at the lease this weekend and I hope I get it all done on saturday. I am going to try and get a liver blood trail done on Sunday and see how my pup will do. I only have one bottle of Deer blood so I will save that for a little later on in his training. I’m liking this book so far, definitely worth the money!! Click image for larger version

I put my new Blue Lacy pup "Lexi" on her first trail today. She did pretty good for a rookie
