Thanks guys! I'm out now. I usually just hunt from around 7 till dark.In my experience the pigs get into the corn before sunset and after that its usually game over till the morning so I don't hunt after dark......I got to my spot a little over 7 and pigs were already in the corn.

I've been wanting to hunt the past few days. Maybe I'll get it in tomorrow.

Dozed off for a minute. Woke up to pigs grunting, 3 sows and a ton of 15-20#ers. I hit the light a couple times until they were comfortable with it. Shot at the big one and the arrow went into the ground behind them. Thought it went straight through. Heard em grunting again before I could nock another arrow. Shined the light and they're back. Shot at the other big one. She ran off with my arrow. Heard a death squeal several yards towards the front. Little pigs came back, but left before I could get another arrow nocked, one of the momma's grunted and they left. First arrow didn't look promising.

Went across the creek in the direction she went and didn't see my nock. Came back to the stand and started looking for blood. looks promising! Crossed the creek and after a few yards, it dries up. Almost gave up and shined the light right in front of me.

                          Congrats Muskles.

With deer, and a good blood trail, they will usually be laying with in 20 or so yards after the blood trail stops. They run out-a juice, so to speak.

It’s hotter than a two pecker’d billy goat in this box but I’m in.
