ASA Qualifier at Abilene Bowhunters May 19 & 20

The Abilene Bowhunters Association is getting the course ready for this weekends ASA Qualifier. We will have 30 nearly new McKenzie targets including the new Turkey. We are located outside Beautiful Buffalo Gap Texas in hills south of Abilene on FM 89. Come shoot one of the historic clubs in Texas. Archery tournaments started on this property back in the 1960's with the TFAA state tourney being held here every year during that time. We have a real men's and Women's restroom with real flush toilets. Our concession stand will be serving Bar B Q sandwiches and Sausage wraps as well as drinks and other snack food. come on out and enjoy our West Texas hospitality and see what makes the Abilene Bowhunter's Association so special!

Take Buffalo Gap Road south (FM 89) to Buffalo Gap. You will weave through town a bit to a sign for the Abilene State Park. Take that road, FM 89 west 5.7 miles, past the State Park and then past Lake Abilene. Just past Lake Abilene, about 1/2 mile and the archery range is on the left.

The weather looks great for shooting in Abilene this weekend. Highs around 90. There is a little rain in the forecast, but it is all supposed to happen late Saturday night and very early Sunday Morning. Looks like a little less wind on Sunday. During shooting times it should be dry. I would probably bring mud boots just in case, but the range should be in great shape. I hope to see all of you this weekend at Abilene Bowhunters Assoc.
