      Have you maxed out Social Security for the year? That's always a nice bump in take home pay.....

          before your edits, that number would put you in 22% or 24% tax bracket, that math doesn't work.

              I'm not really educated on the tax brackets and stuff, but it doesn't seem right after seeing everyone else's responses. Seen your response about making less as a family as well, but my wife makes good money as well.
