Nice shed.

You right on about those ticks. I would gather up a bunch of them down there. Hopefully the new ranch isn't that bad. Going this next weekend to work and do a little shed hunting.

Sweet. With it being so dry, they are easier to find this year. Helps to keep an eye out for them rattle bugs as well.

We'll continue looking over the next few months. It would be nice to find both sides, but at least one side helps us confirm our estimates. We'll know if we were high, low, or spot on. He'll probably get another year, depending on what he does this off season. IF he grew into the 90's, it would be tough to not shoot him at 5 1/2, if he stays a clean 10.

At our place in Ft. McKavett, we found a dozen young sheds but the more mature deer still have their head gear...the ranch foreman saw 2 that were 135-140 and both still had their antlers....

Neat, I'm looking every weekend. Found a few nothing above 130-35 on a military reservation. Found a small 4 point from last year this last Saturaday.
