I think coming from the D700 you will be blown away...and the D700 is a great camera. The sensor on the D810 really is almost magical.

It was low 90s and humid...probably 75 in the mornings. It wasn't perfect but it was bearable.

We did make it to the beach (see above picture). It was really nice and water was perfect.
