IMO skip the dot/magnifier and get a 1-4/6/8 scope. Burris, Vortex, Atibal all make good options.

There should be no reason for that barrel to be shot out in 1k rounds given the use you implied.

If you MUST rebarrel it, I’d go with a 35 wheelen or 9.3x62... I like big stuff.

Got a TT Primary and a Timney Hit. Like them both. The Timney has a bit more travel but it isn’t bad at all. Both are set around 2.25#

Glock 17 or 19 is a good all around gun to have. CC, in the vehicle, competition, HD... they’re simple and it works. Not a lot of recoil and ammo is cheap.
