Yep

No brainier I guess.
We're headed to ks in a few days, and the farm we lease is about 90% CRP. CRP is hard to hunt with a bow if you've never done it, so I figured I'd try a haybale blind. After looking online, I decided I can't afford a haybale blind. Well the wheels started turning. Here is what I have so far of my attempt at a diy. It needs windows cut, will do that when it's set up. And the sides, I'm not exactly sure how I am going to do them yet.

You going to put some handles on the inside so you can pick it up and creep up on them?
In all seriousness, looks great!

kruppa24 11-07-2017 05:43 PM

I like it

Razrbk89 11-07-2017 05:55 PM

That looks good man! Im a tree stand guy, but there’s places and times when I definitely could’ve used one of those.

Looks good. Get another panel and use for the sides. Cut it out the same shape and wire it together.

I'm trying to avoid that, I want it to be as quick and easy as possible to set up.
What I'm thinking is cutting in a "T" on both sides in the PVC and just putting about a 3' upright just to keep the loose burlap from flapping too much.

You may need to put black plastic under the burlap to make it dark inside and keep that cold Kansas wind out.

Get about 3 cans of spray glue from Walmart and put real hay on it after its set up. Also black out the inside.
