What do these paper tears mean?

Top and bottom rows. Middle section I got tired and sloppy.

Recurve 54@28. Left handed...pulling 28.5-29ish. Flemish loose. Left helical fletched...right wing 4" parabolic. Easton Carbon aftermath 340 full length 31 7/8". 75 gr brass insert. 175 gr point. Nock 9gr.

I just dropped a second under finger and closest to bullets Ive ever shot.

Weak or stiff? Should I cut?

If I see what I think I see, it means you are close enough, and leave it alone!!!!!

Bisch That's what I thought I saw as well. Those tears don't look like bullet holes but that's because they were made with arrows. lol

The bottom row looks pretty good. The top row looks like there might still be some left/right tear that needs a little adjustment, but I can't tell from the pic where the point went in, and which direction the tear is??? Also, it appears that the pic was taken from the back side of the paper (all the torn paper seems to be pushing out towards the camera), which would mean everything would be backwards anyway!!!

Funny. Its not the backside. I couldnt tell on top row if the fletching was on left or right. A bit of shaft sway...

Ill take and post some regular pics of the top row in a bit.

          Thank you thank you.

A smidge stiff?...dangit. Run out of shaft.

I think some 300gr heads and 18gr aluminum inserts are next for these 340 Aftermath shafts. Prolly fall back to 400 spines for the 175gr heads and 75 gr brass inserts.

Honestly, if a broadhead flies well out of that I’d leave it. I don’t have good enough form to paper tune!

Are you shooting right or left handed? If I am seeing the pic correct, the tip is hitting at the right of the tear, and the feathers are at the left of the tear. For a right handed shooter, that is an indication of weak!

I haven't tried paper with traditional much. Bare shaft then broadhead. If I can get them together then I'm happy. For now.

Well, I think you're looking pretty good and need to go shoot some balloons in the FSC 17 before you NEED to start studying those Senior Living ads for real instead of shooting through them.
