Trophy room a MESS
After waiting on the insurance adjuster and other life obligations we were finally able to get to my grandmothers house since the flood. It was terrible to see what has happened to our family collection of mounts but nothing compared to what others are going through. The worse was seeing my grandpas moose mount destroyed. We had not put it back up since the last flood and it was on the floor. I never imagined it would just disintegrate into a ball of crumbling hide. The grizzly has some significant damage on the feet but hopefully it can be saved. A few whitetail mounts are iffy but all in all they should be ok. Anyone have a spare moose cape to remount this!

Wow that is one hell of a room, sorry about the damage
|
I hate seeing that, hope you can get it all worked out!
Sometime when you're not near as busy as you are now, we need some stories about that room!! |
I hope the hides can be salvaged or replaced. I hate seeing the mold on the antlers. My heart is breaking for you all.
