Anyone who thinks they would go along with anything he did is day dreaming. He could appoint Obama and they would fight it. Kavenaugh is not some conservative activist. He could have just as easily been nominated by Obama. Look what they are doing to him.

Heidi Heitkamp from ND is going to lose and she knows it, her only option is to vote no and hope she can land a job in the future when the Democratic party takes the white house over, hopefully she's unemployed for a long time.

Depends where they are located. $750-5k. The busier the road. The more expensive they are. A couple years ago we looked at a billboard off 45 north of the woodlands. It was $5000/mo. I’m sure they are more now.

Not sure why folks would change their vote tomorrow. But it is setting this up to be a little more dramatic vote by the rep from Montana. He will fly in after his daughter's wedding tomorrow night to cast the deciding (I hope) vote.

Sen. Jeff Flake told MSNBC today that he will vote yes on Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation, unless something "big" were to happen.

"I don't see what would," Flake added. " But anyway, I'm glad we had a better process."

Earlier today, the Arizona Republican voted yes to advance Kavanaugh's nomination.

Where things stand: That leaves Susan Collins and Joe Manchin as the two remaining undecided senators. If both vote no, Kavanaugh is done. If one votes no and one votes yes, this thing stretches on a bit longer, but he'll be the next Supreme Court justice.

The sickening part of this, is that it has become completely partisan and probably sets the present for any future nominees. Freaking Kagan and Sotomayor were both overwhelmingly confirmed.

This was the Senate vote to advance the nomination further, I believe. Still one more final vote to get through.

Gotcha....one of the Republicans is at his daughter's wedding from what I understand and they will hold the vote open until his return on Sunday if his vote is needed.

They said also there’s a plane waiting to go if he’s needed. Apparently he called BK and told him he will be there if it’s needed.
