Best broadhead target.

Looking to get a broadhead/field point target pretty soon and not real sure what brands to stay away from etc... Just buy a cheap one because it is going to get tore up quick? Or better to pony up and get a good one?

Depends on how much you shoot. The block layered targets have done well for me and they are reasonably priced. The block vaults are also nice but a little more pricey. Rhineharts are tough to beat too.

Rhinehart is the only way to fly for broadheads!

This target will be shot at basically with nothing but broad heads from 20 to 50 yards but will be also used to sight in with field tips and practice with field tips out to around 80-100 depending on how good I get by end of the summer. Then will be used to test broadhead flight out to those distances as well. Only reason I am really needing a target is none of the ranges in my area have a broadhead target and max range distance only goes out to 50 and wanting to extend that.

What rhineharts are you guys shooting?

And to answer your question been shooting 40-50 arrows a week, and that will step up as we get closer to sept. elk opener.

I hear good things about blob, but I keep finding cheap ones with no use at garage sales

Keep a cheap one put up out of the weather and if you only use it for sighting in broad heads it will last a few years

If you want mobile get the 18-1. If you don't need to move it get the BLOB. The blob will last WAY longer than the 18-1.
