    New Rifle thoughts

    OK I hate fore this to be another 6.5 Creedmoor thread but here me out first.
    I'm Thinking about building a new rifle or buying one. Here is my question. Do I spend the money and build a CM in an Ar or just buy a bolt gun? Here are the specs I'm thinking about for the ar10

    Areo or PSA Upper and Lower
    ToolCraft bolt (nickle baron)
    Odin Works Barrel
    Odin Works Gas Block
    15" handguard (haven't decided which)
    Hyperfire Trigger???

    Should put me around $1100
    Or do I buy and $1000ish bolt gun

    I'm in the same boat and am leaning toward the bolt solely because of what I've already got in AR. In for recommendations

      With a handle like (1shot ) consider Ruger #1 or T/C pro hunter....I am 1shot T/C fan ..

          Well, what do you want it for? Unless it's "shoot lots of pigs at long distance" or "I just really love the AR form factor", a bolt action is more practical in 6.5CM.

            Bolt gun. Dont really see the practicality of dragging around a heavy AR-10 when a 7-8 lb bolt gun works just as well if not better
