What the hell is up with Berkley?

Who the hell would want their son or daughter attending that school??? Making the news daily with riots, protest, violence, brainwashing professors etc etc....that place has turned into a crap hole. How much longer can remain a place that someone would look forward to attending?

Has Berkley not always been Ground Zero for collegiate protest, turmoil, and tumult?

Landrover 04-21-2017 03:31 PM

Yes, been ground zero since the late 50's and 60's for social issues. Now it tends to be a magnet for misfits with no true direction. What happened during the civil rights era at Berkeley was instrumental in supporting what was happening in the deep south in those dark days. Fast forward two generations and it has become quite weird.

Berkeley is a cancer in this country.

JFISHER 04-21-2017 05:07 PM

It has needed burned to the ground at least since the 60s for supporting America's enemies by supplying medical supplies and other aide to North Vietnam.

Any good done there for civil rights was washed away by treason.

Nah. Just let them do what they do. I believe they are just hurting themselves in the eyes of the rest of the country. Their true colors are being shown.

Berkeley is ground zero for the attention grabbers on both sides. Guaranteed media attention. Brietbart.com and it's peers on the left seem to love covering Berkeley. Lot of political red meat to toss to partisans.

Yeah, the Antifa & BANM's catch phrase is "We Are Ungovernable". Time for them to get off the government tit then!

A good beating can do a person a lot of good some times.

Somewhat but they had their fair share of nut jobs then as well. To say they were instrumental is a stretch IMO.

A good beating is the least they should worry about. Having /pol/ mark them as priority target is what they are really afraid of. And they should be.

Man 04-23-2017 01:02 PM

Dang..that was kinda cool. So theoretically I should be rooting for the Banm's?? (Not that I would)
