    Yee hah,

It's on my calendar Todd. Thank you for putting this together.

One question though. What do you mean by "can only compete in one buckle class"? I see three that I can enter and two my wife can enter. What does "can only compete in one" mean if you enter several? Why enter multiple classes and how do you choose which to "compete" in?

    Thanks again.

Fletcher , the intention is that there will be 8 different winners when it is done. This way 1 person can't come in and take 3 buckles home. You will have to choose a single class to compete in for the Championship. Which class will you choose? That is the question. Shoot several jackpot rounds and win some $ but only 1 buckle class. Since this is the 1st year ,we wanted to make it as fair and fun as possible. I'm sure there will be some tweaking and modifying in the future. We will be asking everyone what we can do do make it better as we do with our other Trad . shoot.

Bisch, Historic stockyards and Great food. Bass Hall, Casa Mañana, Museums and Art galleries. Ooh and several big malls. Looks like an Anniversary in Cowtown would be a pleasant change.

I figured that was the reason and I'm certainly with you on that. It would just be wrong for someone with a FETA bow with plunger and other accoutrements to walk away with three buckles. I guess I'm not understanding the "jackpot rounds" as I have never been exposed to one. Deciding which class to "compete" in makes for a little more drama and interest.

Count on two of us from Denton County and thanks again.

And early August in Fort Worth can be a beautiful thing (kind of like late July in Austin).

Thanks for setting this up -- I hope to make it.

What is the max distance of the target (if any)

Also, do you plan on counting 12s?

It would definitely be a pleasant change for one of us. We'll see. I just have to see if I can work it out. I really do not want to miss this. I was VERY impressed with the trad shoot y'all put on earlier this year. Cross your fingers for me and maybe I can get it worked out.

It will be center 11, 10 , 8 , 5 , 0. It will be a challenging course, not necessarily long. There will be a couple of long shots but they will be on large animals. It is a championship so we'll challenge you but won't wear you out. Most of the course will be 30yds or less.
