    Cataract surgery

Late last year I went for my annual eye exam since I noticed my vision was not as good. The new prescription was stronger and I was told I had cataracts.

I went to the doctor that did my wife’s and my mom’s surgery.
Short version is that I had both eyes done this month.

For the first time since 2nd grade I can wake up without looking for my glasses.
    It really is amazing.

Thanks to God, and thanks to Dr Pierce and his staff.

Go get your eye exam. It could change your life.

Good for you. It's amazing what all you've been missing. Been there, done this.
As time goes on, your eyes will still continue to change and perhaps need some correction.

I’m looking forward to wearing “cool” shades instead of those nerdy clip ons

I had new lenses put in a few years ago and I still need readers but other than that I can see great.

My father n law just had same surgery on both eyes and is amazed the difference. He now had 20/20 in his right eye. Maybe now he can’t blame his shots on “buck fever!”

In some cases, about a year after cataract surgery, the eyes cloud up. It is called posterior capsule opacification. This happened to me. The good news is, a short painless laser treatment will clear this up.
