    New feeder at Academy

A new Game Winner feeder at Academy seen today. 720#'s, stand and fill and way shorter than their previous models. 12 volt feeder motor around $450. Any feedback?

Do you have a link? I don't see anything on their website but I have had a good amount of success with their 600# Big A.

Saw the 720# feeder sitting outside at Academy in Temple today. did not pay that much attention to it but I did notice the 12 volt motor over their 600# that advertised a 6 volt motor.

If they’re anything like the old one’s, they are crap. Had to learn my lesson. Bought 4 of them. None of the mechanisms worked throughout the season. Bought “The Timer” and replaced China crap and have been good since.

All of the feeders that I've seen at Academy that were Game Winner brand had about half of the sheet metal thickness of other brand feeders.

I have 2 of the 600 lbs feeder. 1 going on 14 years. Replaced motor a few times. Other 1 is 9 years old. No complaints

I have used the 6 volt timers now for 4 years (5 feeders). I have not had any issues at all.

Some people are just hard to please.

I like that "free pickup at store". One of these days they might start charging for that.

I've owned one of the 300# for two years. No problems at all. Change feed times, spread cycle times, etc. And it keep kicking it out. Solar charger isn't an issue either. Put it together in a few nights on the patio, alone. Pushed it on the trailer and into it's spot, easily.

I wonder how sturdy the legs are? They are held in place with pins.

No input on the new one but my neighbor has an older one in his yard and that suckered is on time everyday! Hasnt missed a second in the few months I've been here.

that thing looks like a POS. random panels slapped together to make packaging easier... bad idea.
just buy an all seasons for a couple hundred more.
