    Young and Wide!!!

Can’t wait to see this guy at 4-5 yrs old. Never seen anything like this before!

Weird thing is when he runs they bounce up and down as if they aren’t attached to his skull. He has put on 3”-4” in the last week.

your going to be disappointed, sounds like he wont live that long and if he does he wont have much more than a small funky rack

His pedicles may be broken, not the skull and he would live just fine that way. He may keep that velvet and not have much for a rack though, may grow just fine.
Shot a spike elk one year with one antler that hung down along his face, pedicle was broken and had started healing with new bone growth over the break by Oct. He still had his full velvet but spikes do retain theirs sometimes.
Keep us posted, it's interesting for sure.

                        My first thought was “Longhorn”.

His pedicles will heal, but he will probably be funky for the rest of his life.

Don't kill the "freak" as a cull next year. It's not genetic.
