I got one a few months ago. Along with it I shot the new Hoyt, Mathews, Elite and Black 3. I could of been happy with shooting any of them if I was forced to. They are all good bows.
I probably landed on the Black 5 more because I came from the Centergy Hybrid.
I like the string angle on a 35" bow so that is a big part for me.
The cable stops. I pull a lot on my shots and like the feel of them on the back wall.
It balances well. With that said I am running a 10" stabilizers on the front and back...I definitely like the split limbs better.
I like the grip on this one better than my Centergy.
The strings...I haven't had to adjust my peep since getting it. Man I use to hate some of the cheap strings on some of my older bows. I never liked the fact you had to buy new strings for a new bow.
Since I have a long draw length in a perfect world I would probably prefer a 6 1/2" to 7" brace height. With that said the little extra speed is nice and who knows if I would really notice the difference.
It does stack a little on the draw. I don't even notice it now, but on the Black 3 it seemed to do it more for me.
I am sure I am forgetting a lot, but in short I am really happy with it.

I have a black five now. I like it, but for some reason I can not get the string to touch the tip of my nose unless I go to way to long of a draw length. I am trying to shoot it without the string touching my nose, and have added a kisser button. Have not had much time lately to shoot it, to see If I can get used to it. I have also had to change my anchor point with this bow for some strange reason, as to not get paper tears.
