    Range finder help

I have a couple of mountain bow hunts coming up this year which will be new to me. Looking for some advice on a rangefinder that takes shot angle into consideration, what do y’all think?

Vortex Ranger has been outstanding for me. I’ve also had a lot of experience with the Leupolds with zero issues as well. Can’t go wrong with either brand IMO.

I recent purchased the Sig Sauer Kilo 1000. Its easy to use and has angle modified range and line of sight options. It’s basic but gets the job done. Good luck on your hunts!

For Bowhunting and straight ease of use I like the leupold TBR rangefinders. I have Leica rangefinding Binos, Leica rangefinder and sig kilo rangefinder. If I had to pick one and go hunt in the mountains it would be the leupold.

I bought a Leupold when they first came out. It was off by a yard and a half at 20 yards. Took it back, they gave me another, it was almost as bad. I’ve had a Nikon since then with no problems. Just my two cents.

Been happy with my Leupold 1200TBR in the mountains.

I have an older Leupold with the TBR but the angle compensation wouldn't work past 60 yards so i bought one of the Sig Kilo 1200's. Honestly i liked the Leupold better and if were to buy again i would get the Leupold RX-Fulldraw 3 or the RX-1300i TBR

I used a Cabela's branded Bushnell for years but it sucked past 200yds (dual purpose, not for archery only )

Bought a Sig Kilo last fall and it has been great

Son has Vortex and it is another good option

No experience with any of the others

Only other advice I can offer is don't buy any of the cheap ones and expect good results

I use the Bushnell Gforce Dx and i love it. It has rifle and bow modes with a large angle compensation on bow mode. It does have 6x mag rich may be more than you are looking for since most bow range finders have 4x magnification.
