If she would have been from Texas the news paper would say ***** shot a lion in back yard now in jail.

Too bad it's not on video. We don't even know if the posted picture is of the same mountain lion or if they just found a random picture of a mountain lion on the internet to use.

I sure wish a lion would come grab my wife's mini schnauzer... I hate that dog.

What is your address? I will have santa send you this for christmas.

Designed to Protect Are you concerned for the safety of your dog? It's a dangerous world where coyotes, aggressive dogs, and even birds of prey can injure or kill your small dog in the blink of an eye. We know because it happened to us, and that's why we developed our patented CoyoteVest. Its purpose is to help slow down or prevent a surprise attack and give you enough time to react before a serious injury occurs. The CoyoteVest Pet Body Armor gives us peace of mind knowing that our dogs are not utterly defenseless. While nothing can protect your dog completely, the CoyoteVest offers multiple levels of protection that can help. The unusual appearance makes your dog look strange in the eyes of a predator and may cause them to hesitate before attacking. If they do attack, a formidable array of shiny spikes defends the back and the neck - which is where most injuries occur - and the vest is made with stab-resistant materials that can withstand sharp canine teeth.  Endorsed by veterinarians Veterinarians around the world endorse and use the CoyoteVest for their own dogs. Lightweight and comfortable The CoyoteVest doesn't slow your dog down or impair their ability to run and play. It's easy to take on and off. Stylish and bright colors The CoyoteVest is available in yellow, red, pink, blue, tan, turquoise or safety orange. We make protection look good. Optional Accessories The highly visible CoyoteWhiskers and the sturdy HawkShield help protect against dangerous predators.  How it Works CoyoteVest The original stab-resistant CoyoteVest that attaches with straps and snap buckles. More Info... SpikeVest All-around stab-resistant protection  that attaches with with wide velcro flaps. More Info... CoyoteWhiskers Bright nylon bristles on the back of the vest can make predators hesitate. More Info... Hawkshield Stab-resistant shield protects against sharp talons and provides a chance to escape. More Info... Trusted by Thousands   Is your dog safe? On September 2nd 2014 our sweet little girl Buffy was taken by a coyote right in front of us, and there was nothing we could do to stop it. Before we realized what was happening a coyote had grabbed her by the neck, shook the life out of her, and was carrying her away full speed into heavy brush. We never saw Buffy again. Since that day we have been focused on developing products that can help protect other dogs from a similar attack. If we can help save one life we know we have made a difference to that family.

Nice. Its good to see even in CA not everyone is a terrified sissy. I would have definitely shot the dang thing but if a gun wasn't handy would have went in bare handed as well to save my pooch.

Yeah it would have been a time to ask for help from my buddies Smith&Wesson. But if they couldn't show I dang sure would have had something to inflict harm.
Bare handed she put herself in a bad place.
Just shows you where a ban on lion hunting has them.

                              Same.
I wrapped a piece of ratchet strap around a pitbull mutts neck one time, and almost killed him, to save a buddies dog.
Not sure how having a set of nuts makes you liberal, but oh well .
