    Traditional FSC Week 28

This will be a 5 shots per day challenge, must be first 5 shots of each day, and can shoot up to 5 days. All shots standing.

3 ring target: 8” ring, 4” ring and a ½ ring colored in.
Scoring: ½”=5 points, 4”=2 points and 8”=1 point. Any arrows outside and not touching 8” ring=0 points. Touching or cutting line counts as higher score ring. High score on any given day wins. Tie breaker is tightest group of all 5 arrows, (inside measurement of two furthest spread arrows).

Shots will be taken at the following distances:
    1st shot at 7 yards
    2nd Shot at 10 yards
    3rd shot at 15 yards
    4th shot at 20 yards
    5th shot at 25 yards

One picture of all 5 shots will due, or post each one, your call. Circle or X out previous day’s shots or make a new target.

Congrats to you, Reb, for Week 27!

This walk-back challenge really will be a great all-distance test! Love it.

Good shooting on Day 1, Reb. Easy elevation fix for (assuming the 25-yarder) the low one. Still right on line.

          First Attempt

I can't get past 17 yards in my backyard, so I'm gonna have to hit three bullseyes to even be in the running here. I'm also dealing with something funky in my shot, so really I'm just looking for a participation trophy .

          4pts.

Day 1: 4 pts. First time shooting my new longbow-- a Blue Ridge that Bob Sarrels made for me 67#@28". Not too bad till the wide-right 25-yard shot.

Thanks. Shoots smooth and fast, as well. Light in hand -- only about 1-3/4 lbs, compared to my recurve that is a full pound heavier (28 oz vs. 44 oz), with zero hand shock. And Bob is great to deal with!

Super sexy bow Ellis! Is that your first blueridge? Holy mackrel!....67@28!!!...your arrows might cauterize the wound as they burn through the critters!

Thanks, Byron! Yes, it is my first Blueridge -- really first longbow. Weight matches my Jay Weathers recurve exactly, so I can use the same arrows. Weight pulls easy; just use back, with relaxed forearm. Shot over 100 arrows through it yesterday -- mostly from 25 yards. Bow arm got a little tired toward the end.

Thats pretty slick using same arras on your different setups.

Im gonna try to get in on target today.
