    Helical adjustment

Since I started this journey I've been shooting left helical. As much as I can get on my Bitz and still have good quill contact.
I realize increased helical will slow an arrow down quicker. I shoot an inch and a half wide head and helical is good for stability. My arrows are well tuned and the heads actually fly well bare shaft.
The question is would trimming back on the amount of off set and helical gain me much in trajectory past 20 yards.

So would you go with no off set and just the helical of the clamp or a straight clamp set slight left off set?

I just use a very slight offset with a straight clamp and see no issues. My feathers make less noise now.

Inside of 30 yards, you're going to see very little difference. I shoot 5" shield with a good amount of helical.

I'm shooting 4" shield. I did get some parabolic this last time. No my issue is 25 and out the arrows pretty much take a dive. Drop off quick. Just looking for a way to improve down range velocity for 3D and maybe an elk excursion.

I shoot 4 x 4" on 90 Degrees with as much helical I can get on the 4" feathers. Very quiet and stable.
