    JH Performance Boats

I'm in the market for another boat. I'm looking for a good all around boat and came across a pretty good deal on a JH. I don't know much about them so I'm hoping that some GreenScreeners can help me out with their experiences.

I'm looking for a boat that'll run skinny, handle decent chop and be pretty dry. I also prefer to go fast. What do y'all think about the JH overall?

Tunnel V I’m presuming? Not a bad hull, not fast, not the shallowest but good enough, and they have been known to swap ends from time to time.

What he said. Ive never fished one but read end swapping a bunch. I have a buddy with a 19 explorer which is close to a JH. Had I not been on the throttle (and maybe beer) I think we would have done a 180. It does ride good for what it is.

      May even be 4sale

Yup not a bad boat, but if you're looking for skinny it's not the boat... They do well in big bay systems such as Galveston...

Their outlaw line are really nice, handle good and are fast.

I’m not a big fan of the tunnel v hull design from anyone that makes them.

X2 that design is prone to spin out.

Yep. Plus it’s slow and ugly

Most of those tunnel V boats swapping end is operator error.

The explorer was probably the worst and the El Pescador was real close behind.

You’ll need at least 4 different boats to get what you want
I have a 15 ft flat bottom for the river
                    22 Alweld for West Bay
                    22 Transport for wading
                    27 Whaler for offshore
                    A commercial flounder boat

                    Okay you’ll need 5

I have a JHP B24 and I like it. Not super fast or super skinny Good all around boat not rough and REAL easy to get in and out of wading.

You know what would be cool being able to change the motor from boat to boat. Quick disconnect Motors

Have the guy take you to Conroe and spend a few hours testing it out. That will tell you everything you need to know.

I think Brunner runs a Tran but he may have upgraded since I seen him last.

Curt what year and what model is the boat you're are looking at? Ive been on their Outlaw model many times and they are great. They go as shallow as we want/need to go. This is coming from folks that had Majeks prior. Ive known the family that makes these boats most of my life.
