With general season now closed and only a two week muzzle loader season left I am going to look into doing the free pig hunt thing again this spring. You can do a search for my thread last summer and see what I mean. I had a lot of fun meeting TBHer's last summer and giving chances to kill some of my "magical" pigs- I call the magical because with all the folks that came out and got shots, nobody carried anything home. Anyway, my lease is in Nacogdoches county and there are three stand/feeder setups that can be hunted- by bow, by gun, by hand grenade, day or night I don't care. This will be weekends only and will probably begin about the first weekend in March. I am not asking for anything in return except not to leave any trash- or course a little corn or maybe a helping hand for one or two little things would be appreciated but not required. Last year some of my lease members even opened up their areas but I won't ask- we'll just see if the offer up. Anyone that did this last year is more than welcome to come back. I want to limit it to just two or three at a time and if you don't play well with strangers then maybe you shouldn't come. I had a guy come last year that found out when he got here there was one other person hunting and turned around and went home. So if one guy wants to come and will be by himself and another wants to come I see no reason not to let him since I have three spots initially that can be hunted.
