Trying to decide what to shoot / carry. 124 grain or 147 grain. Pretty sure I’ve decided on Speer Gold Dot, just debating on weight? Thoughts?

I have to interject my humor here based on stuff I hear all the time.
It goes like this...
“I bought this pistol cause thats what the Navy SEALs use, Delta, Military, or whatever Special unit they conceive.”
My question is, how come nobody applies this flawed logic to ammo, white box ball nose not good nuff?
