Boat builders? Sourcing Marine Grade Plywood

    Hey guys,

anyone on the green screen build small craft using Okoume plywood? I'm trying to track down a Texas source of Joubert or Bruynzeel BS1088 marine grade plywood.

I'd rather not order from the east or west coast and pay several hundred dollars in shipping.

Call Clark's hardwood in Houston. They carry marine plywood...

Quit using marine plywood years ago, fir , then 5200 and glass
I understand you wanting to use marine, but then you need to spread Gluvit

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. I have a line on some ply in Houston now.

Yes, fir ply is very poor quality these days. I want Okoume though, not fir. It will be sheathed in glass, and finished bright on the inner side panels. I'll try to get a thread going in the DIY project forum.
