    The heat is coming back!

According to the Weather channel, the heat is supposedly coming back to the Panhandle on Friday thru the weekend.

Me and a fellow lease member, Denson, were planning on gong to the lease (between Jayton and Rotan) and switching out some feeders and filling feeders and doing work around camp, but with temps on Friday over 100 and some reports saying Saturday could be as high as 108!, we decided to cancel until hopefully the following weekend. Being 65 and mostly out of shape and Denson bringing his youngest daughter, it is just to dangerous for us to be down there in the heat and humidity (they have had a lot of rain at the lease). The following weekend temps are supposedly in the mid 90'a which is way better than 100+!

Do the work at night when its cool, you'll need a couple extra flood lights is all.

I'm with you - I try to limit my summertime lease trips to weekends with highs below 95*. There may not be many of those this year. Guess I'm gonna find some inside projects to work on this Saturday/Sunday.

Temps depending on who is giving them for Saturday are between 99 and 108 so who knows. It is still going to be hot. I know it is the summer, but it is not imperative for me to go change some feeders out and fill feeders, especially if I do not have any help except for maybe a day or so out of the 4 I was going to be there! It is really green at our place so the deer are not hitting the feeders real good right now.
