    Buda eats?

Last post came out buds instead of buda. Is there anything good in or close to buda to eat?

The original Salt Lick BBQ is decent. It's not far outside of Buda.

“Helens” Casa Alde for breakfast. Brooklyn’s is a couple doors down and has great lunch or dinner. Salt Lick is close but I’d personally drive a little further to Lockhart for BBQ.

BoB would be the expert in this area, he is from Wimberley. Shoot him a PM.

Garcia’s in Buda. Salt Lick is good, but not exactly “close”

Hays City Store is a little of a drive but trumps most in the area.

Garcia’s is solid Tex-Mex. IM Thai for Thai food. Hays County BBQ in San Marcos or Milt’s in Kyle are decent if you want to save the drives to Lockhart or Dripping Springs. Lots of chains in Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, and south Austin.

Brooklyn’s is our place. We live about 10 miles from the Lick and don’t go there.
