A very brave man stated how to save money on Valentines day

You simply wait until February 15 to buy flowers, candy, and whatever else for the woman in your life. D

I don't want to try that myself.

My wife's birthday is Feb 16th. I can assure you the flowers are never cheaper.

Gotta say we don't celebrate valentines day. Why would I spend 300+% more on food, flower, etc just because others are doing it. We can make any day "special' without the price gouging. A wise man once said travel when others don't, I truly believe that.

Not only do I not do Valentines, but birthdays and anniversaries are lumped in with the other worthless holidays. I try to treat my wife well EVERY day. Must be working, been married 35 years and I ain't sleeping on the couch.

I don’t know what battles she picks, but I bet when she picks one it’s a Marianas Turkey shoot.

I do this every year. When my wife sees that I can get a $100 flower arrangement for $20-25 she is all for it.
