Looking for High fence lease in North East Texas

    I sold my farm.
I have a place I lease with Dean in Brownwood that I go once or twice a year but I need a place within a hundred miles or so of Ore City that I can go hunt often.
Anybody know a good place around this area.
I have plenty money to help keep the place nice.
    Thanks
    Buff

I’ve got a buddy who has a high fence place in Winnsboro. He might still sell some hunts but has taken the approach of selling memberships that come with a certain amount of specific game and then you can a-la-cart any additional game you might want to take. PM me your email and I’ll send you his contact info and membership details.

Just curious, is he the guy that’s east of town on Highway 11 about eight miles outside of town? Just wondering because of all the sheds I see on this cats entrance. It’s pretty cool.

I’m not even sure. I’ve never actually been there. He lives by me and our kids went to school together. It’s the Ford Family Ranch. I believe his son runs the ranch. Great people.

Nope, it’s not the one I was thinking of. I googled Ford Ranch and their ranch is North of town. Looks like they have some nice animals.

The guy who bought it is going to keep it going. Buff's niece is going to still guide and work there. But it won't be the same without Marty and Lisa.

Not saying it won't be good. But they don't make folks like that much any more.

I never knew about the Ford Ranch either until this thread and it’s not far at all from my in law’s place. I agree from their website it looks like they’ve got some pretty legit animals.

Wow, Marty! I'm surprised. Sis told me and I had to search TBH to find out.

I hope all is well with you and you find what your heart yearns for.
