    Dark Energy or Anker Charger

    What battery pack do you use and trust? I can get an Anker that will charge my phone 7 times for $40 but worry some about reliability in the backcountry. The Dark Energy is waterproof and all that but it is also $100 and only will charge my phone 4 times.

    Thoughts?

    In my experience, whether you pay $20 or $100, they all are junk, and last about the same amount of time.
    I'm in to hear about one that has lasted.....

      Anker. Have 2 of them. They are 4 years old and still work perfectly. Other friends have bought Anker after seeing mine, and they too have been flawless. Good thing about the Anker brand is they don't discharge without use as some others do.

            Bought an anker a couple weeks ago and love it so far. Not sure why anyone needs a waterproof charger...

              Do y'all know anyone with one of the Dark Energy Poseidons?

              It looks like a pretty good review of the Ankers. I will probably go ahead and pull the trigger on those.
