    Black Bear Hunt

    Looking to book a bear hunt for 2018. Specifically, Burnt Lake Outfitters in Alberta. Anybody been with them or can you recommend another. There is at least two of us going, possibly 4. Two rifle, two bow. Just looking for a good trip.

    You might also want to consider Keg Country Outfitters -- another Alberta outfitter. I can't imagine a better set up for black bear, and Leo and his guides are first class. This is a stop an stalk hunt over grain fields in the fall. Two bear limit, huge bears, plenty of color phase bears, and a good chance at a wolf. Bear are coming in fields to feast before hibernation. Check it out if you are not already locked in with another outfitter.

        A lot of hunters on Texasbowhunter have gone on bear hunts with Pourvoirie des Bouleaux Blancs http://www.bouleaublanc.com/en/ in Quebec and had great success. I've gone up there for the last 5 years. Taken my dad, wife, and oldest teen daughters on separate trips. Great hunting & wonderful fishing every time and all for a really good price ($1595). The outfitter/guides and family are great great people.

            I would say we've always been 100% successful.

            Let me qualify that-
            You will see bears and will have a shot opportunity, but not everyone always gets a big boar. Most of the time everyone sees a big boar (200-300lbs+).
