green screen help- review dry in costs for a house

I am asking for a double check on numbers here.

My wife and I are building on Matagorda Peninsula which is technically an island, accessible by boat or plane. The entire structure with a porch is 896 sq feet. The cabin interior is 20x32 and the porch is 8x32=896 ft. There is a very small rear porch. $27,300 is the price= $30.46 a ft.

What I get for that cost is 12 foot pilings 4 foot deep in concrete. The structure will be dried in with the exception of windows and doors. I have those already and he will install. The siding is treated red cedar. The roof is metal. Porch stairs. I will finish the rest (Interior) myself. We are going with old cedar fence pickets for walls and I have a bunch of semi-rusted v-crimp roofing tin we will use for the ceiling.

My responsibilities are: I will provide them a place to stay in Port O'Conner, transportation to and from the island daily. I will have my peoples get together and we will deliver all the materials to the island. Pretty much whats in this pic without the windows.

His responsibilities are to buy the aforementioned material and put it up.

Is he high on price? The more I think about it, I believe we are close to fair. Yall tell me what you're thinking.

Ohhhh Well good then. I was grabbing my wallet thinking he was trying wallet rape me. I went and looked at his work as he was building another. I am good with the material and skill level.
