I think he suffered an entire left side injury. His left rear leg looks messed up too.

Hard to tell anything for sure. My gues is he is either REALLY old, or survived a car hit.

Definitely stretching in the first pic. Looks like a 3 year old to me. Nothing wrong with this deer.
