Given the state of Cali's financial status, divesting their pensions is probably inevitable scenario, at least this way they would be getting revenue...

Everyone knows Cali is run by socialist/liberals and every thing they touch turns to a giant pile of poop. Proposals like this are expected by these idiots.
One day they will want the rest of us to bail them out because any company with any since is moving out of cali.

So you think it’s states’ rights to threaten private business if they participate in a perfectly legal building project?

Or are you just saying that to stir the pot? Aren't you always saying that you want smaller government and they should stay out of things? But you give this a thumbs up?

We do, when it's actually an example of the state exercising it's rights against an overstepping Federal government. This is not an example of that.

Oh really, in Texas they planning on taking land by eminent domain.

Would a state stepping in to prevent the federal govt from taking land from private citizens be a good example of states exercising it's rights against an overstepping Federal government?

I would commend the State for sticking up for the landowners, absolutely.

That is the opposite of what is happening in this case. Here you have a state that is choosing to punish/bully it's citizens for conducting legal business.

As for that article, hearing a California legislature call anything immoral is astonishing at best.

The liberals opened the the door "for the greater good". Considering we are talking about national security,..........

The Feds number one responsibility is to protect the citizens and property of the US from foreign invasion and harm. This is not an overstep on the part of the Feds, it is their direct responsibility.

You can argue whether you think this will work or not, but you have no argument about whether what's been happening has been working. It's time to do something different, and this will be different. If it doesn't work then we can tear it down. I doubt that will happen.
