Me too. I did hear of a monster buck taken on Unit 101.

I know a guy that bow hunts there every year. He says there aren't any bucks... yet he posts pics of him with a good buck every year.

Haha, that sounds about right. I guess I'm going to give it a go this year and next year do hardcore scouting and if I come across anything I'll post another thread with my results

Maybe not quite as much with pigs, but people are very secretive when it comes to honey holes. Even a push in the right direction will be hard to come by bud. Best advice I can give ya is get out and put some boot to the dirt. Good luck!

Yes sir, i wouldnt give up a honey hole so i dont blame em. I was just mainly curious on if i was chasing a pipe dream or if their are some bucks around any of the units (not asking to give up anyones spots) at all worth puttin in time for. Thanks for advice tho, im new to public land hunting an bow hunting so was just lookin for some knowledge.

Froggy, I don't know why you keep posting the wrong unit and info, therefor misleading everybody . It was unit 102. And that was the last deer out there in Wise county. It got loose from a 2 acre high fence place with 50 deer on it (Ironman's place). It was the only buck on it though. And the only deer that got loose. The others enjoyed the free feed the owner was giving away to much to leave. So they never left. And he was able to fix the fence before any more got away. TP&W needs to restock Wise county.

I "think" Ironman has a few MLD doe tags for his 2 acre high fence place. Hear he had a very large fawn crop this year and is over stocked. Something along the lines of 82 fawns or something. I also hear ya get a 1/4 acre pasture all to your self. Yall might check with him to see.

I know where Ironman lives. I've been sneaking around his high fence and have a plan to kill his breeder buck. It involves some bolt cutters a spotlight, ghille suit and crossbow.

I was trying to distract to newbies and not give up our honey hole in Unit 102.

Well, whatever you do, don't tell anybody about your plan. He may find out and electrify his high fence.
